USDC Mode
Trade with stablecoins. Buy in dollars, sell in dollars.
What Is USDC Mode?
By default, Untaxed Wallet trades in SOL — you buy tokens with SOL and receive SOL when you sell. USDC Mode switches the quote currency to USDC, so you buy with USDC and receive USDC on sells.
This is useful when you want to:
- Trade in dollar-denominated amounts ($25, $100, etc.) instead of SOL
- Avoid SOL price exposure on your trading capital
- Lock in profits in stablecoins immediately
Enabling USDC Mode
- Tap the gear icon to open trade settings.
- Toggle the Quote Token from SOL to USDC.
- The buy buttons now show USDC amounts instead of SOL.
Holder required: USDC Mode is a pro feature that requires holding 50,000+ $UNTAXED. See Holder Benefits for details.
USDC Buy Presets
When USDC mode is active, the quick buy buttons change to dollar amounts:
- Default presets: $1, $25, $50, $100, $250
- Customizable in trade settings, just like SOL presets
- Custom input accepts any dollar amount
How Sells Work
When you sell in USDC mode, the token is swapped directly to USDC via Jupiter Ultra. The USDC arrives in your wallet immediately — no extra step to convert from SOL.
PnL Tracking
PnL is still tracked in SOL-equivalent terms for consistency. The extension converts your USDC trades to SOL at the time of execution so your P&L numbers remain comparable across both modes.
Limitations
- Ultra only: USDC mode always routes through Jupiter Ultra, regardless of your engine selection. Jito and Helius Sender don't support USDC quoting.
- Requires USDC balance: You need USDC in your wallet to buy. If you only have SOL, use the Swap tab to convert some SOL to USDC first.
- Sell Initials: Works in USDC mode — recovers your initial in USDC equivalent.
